Blü Egyptian are 2026 High Sierra Music Festival Band Contest finalists! They played two sets to very enthusiastic crowds for an unforgettable weekend. The band has been on a steady rise this year with an amazing mainstage performance with Junior Toots at Golden Road Gathering to playing back-to-back packed houses at the Sierra Nevada Big Room in Chico and The Chapel in San Francisco. This summer is looking hot with festival appearances at Oregon Country Fair, a mid-July SoCal run opening for the legendary L.A. Dead tribute band Cubensis, two Lake Tahoe outdoor concerts Music on the Beach and Live at Lakeview in August, two late nite sets for June Lake Jam Fest and a trip to Zion Canyon Music Festival in September.
The self-described “Prog-jam that goes ham" band is known for their explosive live performances fusing rock, bluegrass, funk, reggae and jamtronica. Emerging from the heart of Northern California, the band continues to play for growing audiences in the West, while supporting renowned national touring acts like Melvin Seals & JGB, Dogs in a Pile, Dizgo, Pink Talking Fish, Jerry's Middle Finger, Cubensis, The Mother Hips and Thumpasaurus. There's been an ongoing buzz from memorable festival sets at High Sierra Music Festival, Golden Road Gathering, Oregon Country Fair, Burning Man, Hog Farm Hideaway, Cascade Equinox, Gambler's Run Music Festival and many more. With each show being different from the last, every set is a soundscape of original songs and choice covers for a dance friendly out-of-body experience.
In 2025, the band released 4 singles, including a collaboration with Junior Toots on a Tribute to Toots and the Maytals with ”Pressure Drop." The band continues to release live shows on Bandcamp while performing to growing crowds since the release of their third album “Chantress of Amun" in 2024.

Cam Fuller (bass), Don Jules (vocals, guitar), Zach Graham (drums, vocals), Neo Spectrum (fiddle, synth/keys, vocals). Photos by Alex Parks.
DON JULES (Libra, guitar/vocals) is the primary songwriter in the band. Jules lights up the stage with guitar antics and tasty licks. He came up with the name of the band from an ancient medicinal flower.
ZACH GRAHAM (Taurus, drums) is like a drumologist of all types of music and studies legendary drummers like Steve Gadd, Stewart Copeland, Bernard Purdie and Neil Peart.
NEO SPECTRUM (Cancer, Fiddle/keys/synth) learned to play fiddle at young age in family bluegrass circles. He plays an electric instrument he calls the lasagna. His obsession with frequency modulation and live looping is a new addition to their sound.
CAM “STANK" FULLER (Aquarius, bass) throws down the funk like his favorite bass players like Larry Graham, Louis Johnson, Stuart Zender (Jamiroquai) and Les Claypool.
